Meet DR. O.

Esther Oziel, M.D., FAAP (“Dr. O”) is a board- certified pediatrician with extensive experience in all aspects of children’s health —from newborns to adolescents. She completed her pediatric residency at Baystate-Tufts University, and went on to serve as a trusted Community-based Pediatrician. Dr. O has branched out in her career to serve a variety of roles, including Assistant Professor at UConn School of Medicine, Newborn Nursery Attending at multiple local hospitals, Teaching Attending in Primary care and Adolescent Medicine physician at Connecticut Children’s Hospital.

Dr. O has provided care across emergency, outpatient, and specialty settings, with additional expertise in Newborn Nursery and Adolescent Medicine. She has trained and mentored numerous learners including Medical Students, Pediatric and Family Medicine Residents, and Physician Assistants.

Dr. O remains credentialed with local hospitals, and over the past 10+ years built a wide healthcare network to stay at the forefront of evidence-based medicine, new medical advancements and emerging pediatric trends.

Dr. O hails from Toronto, Canada, and now calls West Hartford home, where she lives with her husband and two energetic boys. As both a devoted mother and Pediatrician, Dr. O brings a unique blend of professional expertise and personal insight to her care. — because she’s not just your doctor, she’s a fellow parent. Known for her bedside warmth, clinical excellence, and deep commitment to families, Dr. O founded OZL Pediatrics to reimagine how pediatric care is delivered—offering concierge-level, personalized medicine brought directly into the home with compassion, flexibility, and the highest standard of care!
